Thank you for choosing Disney Vacation Club. We aim to provide clarity about when refunds may be given. This Refund Policy governs refund terms for bookings, cancellations, modifications, and related matters.
1. General Refund Principles
- Refunds are processed in accordance with the terms of the specific product or service booked (hotel, package, tour, etc.).
- Unless otherwise stated, all refunds will be made via the original payment method used when booking.
- We will deduct any transaction, banking or processing fees incurred in the original payment, unless otherwise specified.
2. Non-Refundable Products
Some products or offers may be marked **non-refundable** at the time of booking. For such products, no refund will be given under any circumstances.
3. Cancellation & Refunds for Regular Products
- If a booking is canceled within the window allowed for refunds (as specified for that product), you may be eligible for a full or partial refund.
- The refund amount depends on how close to the travel date the cancellation is made — the closer to travel, the lesser the refund (if any), as per product terms.
- Refunds will be processed once the cancellation is accepted, within a reasonable number of business days. The timeline may vary depending on your bank or payment method.
4. Changes & Date Modifications
Requests to change booking dates or other details may be allowed (if permitted by the product). Such changes may incur fees or rate differences. Where changes are accepted, refunds (if applicable) will follow the product’s change policy.
5. Refund Procedure
- To request a refund, contact us by email at support@disneyvacationclub.in with your booking reference, reasons, and supporting documents (if required).
- We will acknowledge your request and review it in due course.
- If approved, the refund will be initiated via the original payment method.
- Please allow a reasonable period for banks or payment gateways to reflect the refunded amount in your account.
6. Partial Refunds & Deductions
In cases where only partial refunds are applicable, we may deduct reasonable cancellation fees, administrative costs, or non-recoverable supplier costs. This will be explained in the refund decision.
7. No Refunds for Force Majeure Events
We are not obligated to offer refunds in the event of delays, cancellations or interruptions caused by force majeure events (e.g. natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, pandemics, government actions). In such cases, we may offer alternatives (rescheduling, vouchers, credits) at our discretion.
8. Non-Transferability & Third-Party Bookings
Refunds are generally non-transferable to a third party. If your booking involves third-party services or suppliers (hotels, airlines, etc.), their refund rules may supersede ours.
9. Disputes & Review
If you disagree with a refund decision, you may raise a formal complaint via our customer service. We will review the case and, if unresolved, you may refer the dispute to arbitration or the courts in Gurgaon, Haryana.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. The revised version will be posted here with the effective date. Your continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance.
